The South Redford Preschool Program is a tuition free program that serves District students who will be eligible to attend kindergarten the following year. All preschool students must be residents of South Redford School District and be 4 years of age by November 1, 2012. The Program provides enrichment activities designed to encourage the development of readiness skills necessary for a successful kindergarten experience. Students attend three-hour morning or afternoon session from Monday through Thursday from September through June. Parent involvement is a major component and will be explained at the Preschool Open House meetings. Program costs are limited to a $75.00 materials fee.

The Open House for registered South Redford Preschool students will be   Tuesday, September 4th, in the Preschool classrooms.      
The times for the Open Houses are:

A.M. Class: 10:00-11:00 a.m.

P.M. Class: 1:00-2:00 p.m.
F.Y.I. Registration or participation in the South Redford Preschool Program DOES NOT mean your child is registered for kindergarten.  We do forward copies of your child’s birth certificate and residency affidavit to the elementary school. Contact your local elementary school to register your child for Kindergarten.
